Biography

Redemption is one of the newest band on the St. Louis Reggae scene.
Its members are definitely some of the best among the best of musicians.
Darnel (Doc)- had toured Africa as an opening act for Burning Spear,
David (Big D) - Reggae DJ for many years, and a competent drummer
who always stands out bearing a trail of excellence. John (Smiley),  a
degreed musician and teacher. Andrew (Drew) - Jamaican, toured the
Caribbean, Canada and England with many known and unknown bands
and musicians. Jackie (JD) - The only female in the band, whose voice is
filled with inspiration and joy. The band's demographics are everyone.
Though the genre, without a shadow of a doubt is Reggae, the added
flavor of jazzy, bluesy underlines, creates and envelope an environment
that no other reggae band have experienced; thus, the audience will
have some form of familiarity and relationship with the band's compositions.
The objective of the band is to present that opportunity to its audience to enjoy
themselves in a manner incomparable to other concerts and shows.
